Barrack Information: An October call from the Baltimore Police Department, which had received a call from a subject in Ohio, led to the discovery of a shooting victim. The still armed suspect was talked into surrendering and was charged with first degree murder. A case with the Child Advocacy Center involved a Pennsylvania resident luring a 12 year old from Delaware to a motel in Salisbury, where she was sexually assaulted. The suspect is currently awaiting trial.

Troopers from the barrack made 689 DUI arrests and 396 CDS arrests, both up by around 70% from 2005. During the Chiefs Challenge (April – June) the 1,374 citations and warnings represented a 62% increase, and over the Memorial Day weekend the 1,873 citations written were a 66% increase. Over the 4th of July weekend, a select group of troopers made 41 felony CDS arrests, and another group wrote 1,493 citations.
