| Details: | On 01-10-1987 the elderly Mr. Polk failed to answer phone calls from his family. Family called a neighbor who advised there were lights on in Mr. Polk’s home. Family drove to Mr. Polk’s residence and entered through an unlocked door. They located Mr. Polk deceased on the floor of a room off the kitchen. Autopsy revealed Mr. Polk had been shot and beaten. Robbery appeared to be the motive for the crime. |
